I have always loved working with my hands. There is a picture, back when I was probably about three years old, of me "cutting" my brother's hair. Looking back at that picture is kind of cool because I ended up becoming a hairstylist. I worked in the industry for over 10 years and I absolutely loved it.

Then in a whirlwind 8 years I met and married my husband, had four children, and moved 5 times including one big move to Kentucky. We wanted to have me stay home once we had children, so I gave up my career, happily, and I have been busy enjoying life with them ever since.

When I had my first baby, I received a handmade crochet blanket from my husband's aunt. It was my favorite gift that I received. From then, I wanted to try to learn how to crochet. I thought I could make blankets as gifts and it would end at that.

Fast forward a few years, I finally got my first crochet needle and looked online for instructions on how to crochet. I ended up learning flowers first, which one of my friends saw on my daughter and said "You could sell those!" So I thought, why not try. I have been inspired by all that I see on Etsy. I have moved on from flowers to hats, boots, blankets, dresses, and scarves. I love the challenge of trying new things.

I love being able to use my hands to create again! And I have had such a wonderful experience here on Etsy. Thank you to all of you that have supported my business. It has been a great journey. :)
